Vali

A son of Odin in Norse mythology, primarily known for his swift and decisive vengeance for the death of Baldr.  Born for the sole purpose of avenging his half-brother, he grows to full adulthood in a single day and slays Hodr, Baldr’s unwitting killer.  Vidarr and Vali are among the few gods prophesied to survive Ragnarok and rebuild the world.
