Vidarr

The “silent god” of vengeance in Norse mythology, son of Odin.  Possessing strength second only to Thor, he is fated to avenge his father’s death at Ragnarok by killing the wolf Fenrir, tearing its jaws apart with his specially crafted shoe.  He is one of the few gods prophesied to survive Ragnarok and help establish a new world.
