Baldr

The Norse god of light, beauty, purity, and joy, and the beloved son of Odin and Frigg.  His death, tragically orchestrated by Loki with a mistletoe dart thrown by his blind brother Hodr, is a pivotal event that signals the approach of Ragnarok, and he is one of the few gods prophesied to return after the world’s destruction.
