Hodr

The blind god of darkness and winter in Norse mythology, son of Odin.  Unwittingly, he became the instrument of his beloved brother Baldr’s death when Loki tricked him into throwing a mistletoe dart.  He is later slain by Vali to avenge Baldr, but is prophesied to return after Ragnarok.
