Ragnarok

The prophesied “doom of the gods” in Norse mythology.  It’s a cataclysmic series of events, including a great battle that results in the deaths of many major gods (like Odin and Thor) and the destruction of the world, followed by its eventual rebirth and the emergence of a new age.
