Ingolf Thorstein

A little-known Viking raider from a small village in Norway.  He was the original discoverer of Thule, finding it by accident while whaling nearby and getting lost in the eternal fog of the seas in the region.  Once there he found the fjord that led to the natural harbor that lies before The Onyx City.

After his first trip into The Onyx City he returned home with many tales of the basalt nightmare and many fearsome sights he saw there, but kept the location quiet.  The loot he came back with was curious and never-before seen items fashioned from silver, gold and other unknown metals, some of which smiths found they could not work easily.  He returned over many summers, eventually building a seasonal settlement there for him and his crew which eventually became Trade Town.

Ingolf was lost on one of his many expeditions into The Onyx City, his disposition still unknown.  His cousin Leif Troll-Killer took over Trade Town and opened up exploration to any who wants to test their mettle there.

Boomer D&D:  “We are brutal mercenaries who take whatever isn’t nailed down. We get killed because we didn’t understand the ten paragraph description of the trapped room.”
