The Old Empire
A bronze-age empire that predates the Great Church or worship of The Lawgiver. It spanned much of Europa and some of Araby as well, and even had some small incursions into territory considered Midgard. Like all empires, over time it became decadent and collapsed under its own weight.
Ruins of the the Old Empire can be found all across the lands it once occupied, including many forgotten caches of treasure and forgotten lore and knowledge.
