Jotunnborn

The jotunnborn, or giant-kin, are humans that are believed to have a trace of hill giant lineage in their bloodline.  Slightly larger than normal, it is typical for a jotunnborn to be at least 6’6", and some reach heights of 7’6".  Regular adornments, clothing and armor are often difficult to fit for them.

Being kin to giants, they typically possess great strength and fortitude, far beyond the average human.  However, they have also inherited the clumsiness of their progenitors, making tasks requiring fine motor control a difficult proposition indeed.

A jotunnborn character may only play a fighter, cleric, runesmith or seer, although jotunnborn clerics worship the Jotnar and have a restricted spell list.

A player must roll a 16 or higher in strength and constitution to play a jotunnborn, but may not have a dexterity higher than 9.  These are the rolls the player must make and are not adjusted to allow for the play of this character race.
