Vis

Vis (vees) is the physical manifestation of raw magical power, typically found in specific locations or within magical creatures and items.  It’s a highly valuable and essential resource for arcanists, used to fuel rituals, create enchanted items and boost magical casting totals.  Each unit of vis is inherently attuned a certain type of magic.  Raw vis is often used as a currency between magicians.
