Jotunn

A giant in Norse mythology, a being of immense size and strength often representing the primordial, chaotic forces of the cosmos.  They are the ancient adversaries of the Aesir, inhabiting realms like Jotunheimr, though some also intermarry with the gods, and they play a crucial role in creation and the eventual Ragnarok.
