Jormungandr

The Midgard Serpent in Norse mythology, a gigantic serpent child of Loki and Angrboda.  So vast it encircles the entire human realm and grasps its own tail, it is Thor’s arch-nemesis and is prophesied to cause immense destruction during Ragnarok before being slain by Thor, who will then die from its venom.
