Skein-mother (DM)

A horrible nightmare that lives within the Skein; the form that she takes is dependent on the world she is closest to, but her true form appears to be that of a pale woman with a distended stomach, and six arms that she uses as arms and legs.  Some scholars of the Skein believe that the Skein-Mother is actually a personification of the ego of the Skein itself.  They believe this because it appears that the Skein-Mother cannot emerge from the Skein.

The Skein-mother generates twisted versions of herself, frequently called her “children.”  They are universally hungry and mad, attacking endlessly and never failing their morale checks.  However, like the Skein-Mother, they cannot emerge from the Skein (thankfully).
